About the studio

A tiny studio with a big soft spot

Idle Robot is a tiny independent studio in Estonia. We write the code, draw the little worlds and keep testing every idea until it feels just right.

We make small, finished, calm things for children and families: no ads, no tricks, no rush. If a feature would not be welcome at our own kitchen table, it does not go in.

Mimimi lives in a cozy home with a garden, a playground, a fishing lake and a Study Room. Every day there is something to grow, cook, find or make, and nothing ever goes wrong if you skip a day.

Languages and accessibility

Small hands, early readers, sensitive eyes, busy parents: we design for all of them from the start.

  • English and Estonian

    Mimimi speaks English and Estonian today. Finnish (Suomi) is next.

  • Play before reading

    Games are wordless, so pre-readers can play on their own. Pictures, shapes and numbers do the talking.

  • More than colour

    Cues use shapes, symbols and motion as well as colour, so colour-blind players are not left guessing.

  • Big, forgiving taps

    Large touch targets for small fingers, and drops that land kindly when aim is a little off.

  • Calm by design

    No timers, no fail screens, no streaks to protect. Reduced-motion and battery-saver options too.

  • No ads, ever

    No ads, no accounts, no tracking. The game works offline and keeps everything on the device.
