Short version
Mimimi collects no personal information. It has no accounts, no ads and no analytics, and it does not need the internet to play.
What stays on your device
Your pet, your progress, your settings and your purchases are saved only on your phone. We cannot see them. Uninstalling the app, or using Start over in the grown-ups sheet, removes them.
Microphone
Some games let a child talk to the pet (talk-back) and call it by name or by clapping. For this, Mimimi asks for microphone permission. The sound is analysed on the device in real time to find loudness and pitch. It is not recorded to storage, not uploaded, not shared and not used to identify anyone. You can refuse the permission and still play everything else, and you can switch it off at any time in the phone's settings.
Purchases
The optional one-time purchase "Mimimi Full" is handled by Google Play. Google processes payment and purchase information under Google's privacy policy. We only receive from Google Play whether this account owns the unlock. We never see payment details. Purchases are only offered to grown-ups, behind a reading check. Refunds follow Google Play's refund rules, and you can also write to us.
Children
Mimimi is designed for young children and complies with the Google Play Families Policy. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, children included, because the app collects none. It contains no advertising, no third-party tracking and no social features.
When you write to us
If you email us (for example at support@idlerobot.dev), we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use them only to answer you and to help with Mimimi. We do not add you to a mailing list or share your message with anyone. The messages are kept in our mailbox, which is hosted by our email provider (Namecheap), and we delete them within 12 months after the conversation ends. You can ask us to delete them sooner at any time.
This website
This website, idlerobot.dev, uses no cookies and no analytics, and loads nothing from other companies. Our hosting provider may keep standard technical server logs (such as IP address) for security and reliability.
Changes
If we ever change this, we will update this page and the date at the top. If a change involves collecting data, we will ask a grown-up first.
Your rights
The app itself sends us no personal data, so there is nothing about your child for us to access or delete. If you have written to us, you can ask to see, correct or delete your messages, and we will do it. Write to support@idlerobot.dev with any question or complaint. You may also complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon).
